Bring a lunch to eat on the bus after the meet.
This is an excellent spectator course.
Binoculars recommended.
There is no seating--bring a chair.
Conditions at the course can be cold.
Be prepared for this.
Note there is no public address system--they will start
your race whether or not you are on the starting line!

Take the US-50 W ramp towards SACRAMENTO. 0.3 miles
Merge onto US-50 W. 10.5 miles
Take I-80 W. 72.8 miles
Take the I-80 W exit towards SAN FRANCISCO. 0.8
miles
Merge onto I-80 W. 7.7 miles
Take US-101 S. 18.0 miles
Take the CA-92 exit towards HAYWARD/HALF MOON BAY/FASHION
ISLAND BLVD. 0.2 miles
Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp. 0.4 miles
Merge onto CA-92 W. 3.7 miles
Take the RALSTON AVENUE exit. 0.2 miles
Turn LEFT onto RALSTON AVE. 0.7 miles
Turn RIGHT onto HALLMARK DR. 0.9 miles

Instead of 101, you can also take 280 south, exit at 92,
go east to Ralston, make a right on it, and a right at
Hallmark.

Junipero Serra High School would like to invite your teams
to participate in the 26th annual Crystal Springs Cross
Country Invitational to be held on Saturday, October 14th,
2000. The race will be held, as usual, at the Crystal
Springs International Cross Country course
in Belmont, California.
This meet is sanctioned by the CIF for all schools in
California. The Crystal Springs Course is 2.95 miles of
rolling hills all run on trails. The layout of the course
is excellent for both runners and spectators. Chemical
toilets and drinking fountains are available at the course.
A full snack bar will be in operation as in past years.
We will again be selling the traditional, long-sleeve,
Crystal Springs Invitational T-shirts. There are no dressing
rooms, so come ready to compete.
Please respect the private property in the area. Do not
go onto people's property to get water or for any other
reason. Please do not block people's driveways Coaches
are asked to review this with their athletes and bus drivers.

Have all athletes at the starting line at least five minutes
before race time to receive instructions. Traditionally,
we have not used a public address system. Athletes
are responsible to be on time for their race.
AWARDS A plaque will be awarded to the winning team in
each race. T-shirts are awarded to the top 15 finishers
in each race.
