Coaches' vans will depart Jesuit back parking lot at 6:30 a.m.

Directions: Take Watt Ave south to Hwy 16. Take Hwy 16 to Hwy 49. Go right (south) for about one hour. The Fairgrounds are just outside Angels Camp. Allow two hours from Jesuit and beware of CHP radar on Hwy 49.

Highlights from the Official Meet bulletin:

Location: Bret Harte High School will be hosting the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Subsection Cross Country Meet for Division I-II-III-IV-V on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at Frogtown which is located on the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, 2 and 1/2 miles south of Angels Camp.

Subsection Awards: The only awards given at the Subsection meets are medals.
Forty medals will be awarded to each of the 7 classifications - total of 280 medals
(10 medals per division race).

Section Qualifying: Varsity boys and varsity girls will qualify eight (8) teams and
10 individuals. All others, except Division I and II JVs will qualify five (5) teams
and 10 individuals per division. Divisions I and II (JVs) will send six (6) teams and
10 individuals.

Facilities: No locker room facilities are available. Bathrooms only - please come
dressed.

Concessions: Concessions will be available. Water will be provided on the course
(if necessary).

T-shirts: T-Shirts will be available for $13.00 the day of the meet.

J.V. rule: The boys’ and girls’ JV races are open to athletes who are not part of
their varsity top five (5). If a school does not enter its top five (5) in the varsity
division, it is not allowed any entry in the JV division.

Varsity entrants: No team may have more than seven (7) varsity entrants at the
Subsection or Section. PENALTY: Team is disqualified. Individuals off that team may qualify as individuals.
